Responsibilities

  • Translate the business strategy into product strategy.

  • Own the 3 to 5 year product roadmap in collaboration with HQ Group Product Planning Teams.

  • Execute the product strategy with buy-in and support from the Sales team and HQ and drive action throughout the organization to get products to market.

  • Identify opportunities that lead to the growth of the product through innovation while still maintaining the fundamental business goals/priorities.

  • Support business planning and sales team to manage product profitability and commercial success.

  • Focus on consumer insights and provide R&D/engineers high-level requirements (VOC à VOE) - product specifications, design, target pricing.

  • Partner with business planning and Sales team to define model line positioning and the feature-set for merchandise plans.

  • Conduct market surveys to identify competitor products’ placement, features, and retail price positions.

  • Drive high collaboration due to the role’s cross-functional nature – partner with other product departmental leaders to align and execute product strategies and offer timely support.

  • Manage all aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and product issues.

 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or relevant work experience.

  • At least 7 years of experience planning and managing hardware and intelligent products in the home appliance industry, specifically with refrigeration and similar appliances.

  • 3+ years serving as a product manager for a major home appliance company is preferred.

  • Track record of successfully launching products into the marketplace is preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team to achieve goals through interdepartmental communication and alignment.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Expected to regularly make presentations to the Group Management team members as well as Stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in English.

  • Proficiency in Chinese preferred.
