The dream of recreating that immersive movie theater experience at home often hits a major roadblock – the hassle of finding a big space and then setting up a traditional projector system. Allocating enough space, precisely leveraging the projector at the right distance and angle, managing cables and potential obstructions. It can quickly turn a cinematic ambition into a household ordeal.
Hisense has resolved this long-standing challenge with its innovative ultra short throw (UST) Laser TV technology. Unlike conventional projectors that require several feet of clearance from the screen, Hisense’s UST models can be placed just inches away while delivering massive, 4K high-definition visuals up to 120 inches diagonally.
“By setting up the laser console on a cabinet or desk against the wall, you can enjoy the cinematic experience right away,” explained Alan Liu, Laser TV product expert at Hisense USA. “It’s a solution designed to help consumers spend less time fiddling with setup and more time immersed in their entertainment, a much simpler set-up than before, using even less space than before.”
Launched in 2023, the Hisense L5H UST Laser TV brings a simpler, space-saving version of home theater to American homes. The laser console’s close-quarters optics cast a stunningly vibrant, lifelike image in rich 4K resolution and vivid HDR color. Bolstered by Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG picture enhancements, the L5H delivers an ultra-premium visual experience rivaling commercial theaters.
“Hisense is delivering innovative technology that enhances consumers’ theater-quality viewing experience when streaming their favorite content from any device,” Liu explained, highlighting the L5H’s wireless connectivity for Apple AirPlay 2, HomeKit, and screen mirroring. “Our team continues to actively make the installation of the screen and projector simpler and easier so owners can start enjoying their shows even sooner.”
The unique UST design pays dividends beyond just easier setup and saving space. With the laser light source in close proximity, the L5H avoids many typical home theater pitfalls like obstructed light paths, ambient light interference, and degraded image quality from off-axis viewing positions. Specialized optics also minimize shadows, glare, and the risk of obstructions between projector and screen.
The Hisense L5H ultra short throw Laser TV creates a mesmerizing immersive viewing environment where customers can appreciate every blade of grass, every cloud detail with breathtaking clarity and depth all with the simpler and easier setup imaginable.
Currently available at Best Buy nationwide in both 100-inch and 120-inch screen sizes, Hisense L5H brings Hollywood-caliber home entertainment within easier reach. Hisense will further expand its ultra short throw Laser TV lineup this fall, so stay tuned.
