Hisense is a large professional electronics and information enterprise founded in 1969 (Company History). It ranks among China’s Top Ten electronic manufacturers and plays a leading role in the global electronics industry relying chiefly on an efficient technology innovation system. Each year, Hisense undertakes more than 10 state-level research projects. It has also been chosen as an industrialization base for China’s "State 863 Plan."

It owns 40 plus subsidiaries with total assets of USD 3.14 billion in 2006 and sales revenue that exceeded USD 6.2 billion in 2007. With a worldwide workforce of 40,000+ employees, Hisense has over 300 sales companies and more than 60,000 service outlets across China.
