Responsibilities
PSI Management
Collect data, such as sell-thru/sell-in information, estimated incoming, channel incoming, price map, actual on-hand orders, etc. from different departments as the input to work out the PSI master document.
Analyze the sell-thru/sell-in data based on historical data, industry data, target comparison, price map to improve the rationality.
Organize a PSI meeting to include Sales, Business Planning, Supply Chain, and Product Marketing to review sell-thru, sell-in, inventory, and replenishment plan to make sure the end-to-end forecast is reasonable, and demand can be fully met with reasonable inventory.
Forecast Management
Work out and implement the 12-month forecast process; participate in monthly reviews of the forecast to make sure it’s supporting the annual goal; work with the Sales team and Business Planning team to address any gaps, and work with other internal team members to ensure that there are resources to support the plan.
Monthly evaluation of both sell-thru and sell-in forecast performance; work with stakeholders to improve performance and identify the root cause of poor performance.
Allocation Management
Allocate products based on the forecast from different customers, confirm the allocation for customer orders to avoid any conflict and work with stakeholders to address conflicts, if necessary.
Store Level Inventory Management
Analyze store level inventory turnover, actual store sell-thru vs. forecast, and inventory trends, and work with stakeholders and customers to make sure the stores have enough inventory to drive sell-thru.
PSI Process and Tool Optimization
Continuously improve the PSI end-to-end process, including allocation process, inventory standard, replenishment process, promo plan management process, etc.
Work with the IT team to introduce and implement suitable PSI tools to improve end-to-end efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or similar field.
3-5 years’ experience in demand planning, inventory planning, or production or manufacturing operations.
Advanced Microsoft Excel SAP System knowledge and experience.
Excellent prioritization and time-management skills, ability to multi-task and work well under pressure and adjust work accordingly.
Great interpersonal and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Critical thinker, good team player, and results-oriented problem-solving skills.
