Position Summary

The New Product Introduction Manager facilitates planning and manages execution of multiple projects with full responsibility for the results. They drive the development of products, solutions and/or services that are right on time and competitive in the marketplace and drives research that ensures Hisense USA’s technological lead position.

Responsibilities:

·       Serve as the product expert/evangelist for internal and external stakeholders.

·       Facilitate the product launch process and make it known to customers.

·       Keep updated with new products from project planning to production.

·       Evaluate customer product reviews; identify issues quickly and lead effort to eliminate or minimize impact in the marketplace.

·       Ensure that product schedules are followed during its development.

·       Work closely with other departments, such as manufacturing, quality assurance, logistics, and planning.

·       Negotiate with manufacturers and suppliers to meet the company and customer’s expectations.

·       Conduct meetings with suppliers to find ways to improve new products.

·       Manage and ensure compliance with standards, laws, rules and regulations, and intellectual property (IP) freedom to operate.

·       Perform risk and opportunity management.

·       Drive the identification and protection of project-related intellectual property while ensuring alignment with patent and trade secret strategy.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor of Science (Business, Marketing or Engineering).

·       Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Manager or equivalent.

·       Excellent communication skills, self-driven, ability to work cross-functionally in a global environment, a must.

·       Experience with design controls, milestone reviews, and presentations.

·       Product design, development, and troubleshooting experience.

·       Working knowledge of risk management and statistical analysis techniques is a plus.

·       Travel, including international.
