Logistic Engineer

JOB DUTIES:
Create practical logistics solutions, ensure clear communication in Mandarin Chinese with Chinese-speaking-only China factories and China HQ team. Communicate with FedEx, gain comprehensive insights into their policies, updated shipping methods, quoting procedures & standard charging protocols. Facilitate communication channels with distributors to fully understand their current requisites & the demands from end users. Ensure fulfillment of both distributors’ & end users’ needs using customer relationship management (CRM) system, while maintaining a consistently high fill rate. Establish connections with potential new distributors, evaluate their proposals & agreements; act as an intermediary between distributors & the organization. Employ warehouse management system (WMS), allocate & oversee material management across dual warehouse facilities situated in Georgia & California in the U.S; this task involves optimization of warehouse space utilization & alignment with customer demands across regional warehouse locations. Assist in recruitment & training process of newly onboarded supply chain dept. personnel, while overseeing facilitation of requisite facility needs. Work with cross-functional depts, including call center & R&D team, ensure fulfillment of customer requirements via CRM system. Leverage sales opportunities & mitigate potential business adversities during periods of scarcity. Monitor SAP system, oversee & optimize inventory management, order processing, location logistics, & material maintenance protocols. Implement logistics modeling methodologies to identify & rectify operational inefficiencies within warehouse processes, logistics workflows, order fulfillment procedures & facility arrangements. Orchestrate strategic product placement across diverse warehouse locations, including those in GA & CA, USA, to expedite customer deliveries. Spearhead inventory management initiatives via WMS platform, ensuring optimal balance & alleviation of inventory pressures across all locations. Support Integrated Detailed Design (IDD) initiatives aimed at enhancing supplier selection processes, Warehouse Control System software design, process streamlining & functional flow optimization, ensuring seamless logistics operations. Devise & execute proactive strategies, enhance expenditure planning, predictions & cost calculations; this task entails comprehensive analysis of updated charge regulations from disparate distribution centers, facilitating informed recommendations of the most suitable distribution center options to clients, while identifying avenues for cost reduction & process enhancement. Spearhead implementation of logistic process improvements to enhance streamline operations & augment performance across warehouse & logistics operations. Communicate daily with Chinese-speaking-only China factories & Chinese-speaking-only management team in HQ in China. Translate technical documents from English into Mandarin Chinese for Chinese-speaking-only China factories and Chinese-speaking-only management team in China HQ, both verbally in Mandarin Chinese & via email in written Chinese. Attend bilingual meetings regularly, ensure clear & accurate info exchange between our USA teams &d Chinese-speaking-only China teams. Promptly address operational issues, synchronize logistics operations, maintain alignment with corporate strategies & standards via consistent communication with Chinese-speaking-only China factories & Chinese-speaking-only management team in China HQ, both verbally in Mandarin Chinese and via email in written Chinese. Ensure smooth & efficient coordination across global operations, enabling real-time problem-solving and strategic decision-making in a fast-paced logistics environment.
JOB REQUIREMENT:
At least a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Management; or a closely related field, plus minimum one year of post-baccalaureate experience working as Logistician, Logistics Engineer, Logistics Analyst, or closely related positions. Foreign degree equivalent is acceptable. We will also accept any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience. Experience should include minimum One-year’s working on CRM systems; inventory management; warehouse management systems (WMS); SAP platforms; order fulfillment process; Logistics Modeling: Integrated Detailed Design (IDD) skills; logistics operations.
OTHER JOB REQUIREMENT:
Must be Proficient in Mandarin Chinese Speaking, Reading, and Writing, at native speaker proficiency level.
