The Full-stack Software Developer will apply their expertise in software development to deliver high-quality applications that address consumers’ needs while delivering a great user experience that will differentiate us from our competitors. This role will effectively support Hisense’s mission to improve consumers' lives with high-quality, innovative, affordable products.
Responsibilities:
Architecting and developing front-end and back-end software: Utilizing web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, front-end frameworks such as Flutter, React, or Angular; and server-side programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
Prototyping and implementing IoT solutions: Developing and iterating on software prototypes of smart home experiences utilizing IoT protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, or HTTP, as well as IoT platforms such as AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or Google Cloud IoT.
Deploying applications to cloud infrastructure: This person will apply DevOps practices such as continuous integration & delivery (CI/CD), containerization, and others required to bring the applications to life.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams: This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Project Managers, UX/UI designers, and QA Engineers, to develop and deliver high-quality software applications.
Troubleshooting and debugging: This role will play a role in troubleshooting and debugging issues in software applications they develop. They should be familiar with various debugging tools and techniques to identify and resolve issues quickly.
Staying up to date with emerging trends and technologies: Full-stack developers should keep themselves updated with the latest trends and technologies, such as edge computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and smart home standards such as Matter and Zigbee, which can help to stay ahead of the competition and deliver innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Candidates should have between 2 and 5 years of experience in full-stack software development (front-end and back-end). Previous experience in web and hybrid mobile development is preferred.
Technical skills: Candidates should have a strong understanding of front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, front-end frameworks such as Flutter, React, or Angular; and server-side programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js. Additionally, familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases is required.
Problem-solving skills: Candidates should have the ability to analyze complex problems and develop solutions. They should be able to troubleshoot issues and develop effective solutions to problems.
Creative and strategic thinking: Candidates must be able to think creatively and strategically to develop innovative product designs that meet customer needs and expectations.
Strong communication and collaboration skills: Candidates should have strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and manufacturing. They must collaborate effectively to achieve team goals and meet project timelines.
Attention to detail: Candidates must have strong attention to detail to ensure that the concepts and products meet the defined requirements and quality standards.
