The Design Manager of Cooking Range is an essential role that contributes to the success of the company by driving innovation, creativity, and cross-functional collaboration, while ensuring that the final product meets design requirements, safety standards, and quality control.


Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing the design team: Lead and manage the team responsible for designing cooking ranges, which can include industrial designers, engineers, and other professionals.

  • Conceptualizing and developing new products: Responsible for creating new designs and products that meet market needs and customer demands.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams: Work closely with other teams, such as the engineering, marketing, and manufacturing teams, to ensure that the product meets design requirements, timelines, and budgets.

  • Managing the product development process: Oversee the product development process from ideation to launch, ensuring that the product meets design requirements, safety standards, and quality control.

  • Staying current with industry trends and design techniques: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and design techniques in the industry and incorporate them into the product development process.

  • Creating and maintaining design documentation: Responsible for creating and maintaining design documentation, such as drawings, specifications, and other design-related documents. 

  • Ensuring customer satisfaction: Ensure the end product meets customer expectations and satisfaction by working with cross-functional teams to design a product that meets market demands.

Position Qualifications

  • Leadership and management skills: Candidates should have experience leading and managing a team of designers, engineers, and other professionals. They should be able to motivate, inspire, and guide their team to achieve design goals and meet project deadlines.

  • Creative and strategic thinking: Design managers of cooking range must be able to think creatively and strategically to develop innovative product designs that meet customer needs and expectations.
