Hisense Product Marketing team is seeking an experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager to support Hisense Home Appliance business. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, the Senior Product Marketing Manager plans and manages all facets of product marketing for the Hisense Home Appliance, including go-to-market strategy, pricing, promotional campaigns, collateral development, and monitoring of competitive landscape. Ensures that key KPI metrics; revenue, profit and market share are monitored and achieved. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory alignment. Develops and maintains solid relationships with sales leaders and customers to ensure successful sell-in and sell-through motions. As a part of inventory management, identifies when to implement promotional activity and to determine the scope of promotions. Works with Hisense R&D to recommend improvements to current and future products by sharing and defending data-driven insights regarding local market and customer/consumer preferences and behaviors. Reports findings and planned actions on a consistent basis to leadership.

Role and Responsibilities:  

1. Defines and drives the execution of the product marketing plan for Hisense Home Appliance business to meet the P&L goals and KPIs
2. P&L Ownership: Leverages the financial target planning (TP) process to set and monitor monthly customer sales targets, to allocate promotional spending, and to monitor and drive inventory forecast accuracy
3. Product Lifecycle Planning and Execution: Drives product launch planning and go-to-market implementation for a strategic product line-up, including supply chain alignment, marketing plans, promotional bundling, assortment planning, and merchandising
4. Manages marketing activities and promotion investments across the lifecycle of individual products or categories to drive sales and profitability (e.g., market analysis, planning / pricing, product launch, inventory management, product retirement)

5. Actively works with Hisense HQ to identify in advance the new model capabilities and release dates that will ensure the timely development of promotional material and inventory clearance strategies
6. Collaborates with demand generation team to create Above-the-Line (ATL), Below-the-Line (BTL), and advertising materials, online assets, collateral, and training
7. Sales Forecast Optimization: Closely monitors and analyzes category market performance, sales feedback, and reseller inventory (sell-in / sell-out ratio) to resolve business challenges.
8. Inventory Management: Collaborates with product supply to effectively manage inventory to optimize sales, while minimizing on-hand quantities
9. Collaborates with sales teams and customers to develop key customer-specific sell-in and sell-through strategies, programs, and pricing, requiring pitch presentations to retailers and buying groups.
10. Transitions from a support to a decision-making and people-management role as a surrogate Director when necessary
11. Works with senior leadership and maintains a consistent relationship with Hisense business managers

Skills and Qualifications:  

1. Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.). MBA Preferred
2. 6+ years of experience in brand and/or product management, with P&L ownership experience
3. Experience in Home Appliance, and related industry preferred
4. Values consumer insights.
5. Capability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely in a variety of settings, adjusting the message to match the audience level and size
6. Strong analytical capability, with the ability to estimate promotional sales lifts, sales forecasts, and sales opportunities for new product launches.
7. Experience managing retail market across multiple channels
8. Strong team player that can build and thrive in a cross-functional environment, with prove ability to build positive relationships with Sales and other internal teams. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employee and management – internally and externally.
9. Experience in creating, and comfortable with presenting, compelling presentations to Hisense and customer’s executives
10. Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
