  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate high-level business needs into operational requirements for developing integrated solutions for Connected Home Appliances, such as connected ranges and refrigerators, using machine-to-machine interaction, backend services, and mobile applications.

  • Specific job duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Stay up-to-date on evolving market trends by working with consumer insight and market research teams to understand consumer demands and create compelling product use cases that address consumer pain points.

  • Deliver value to consumers by designing and developing highly available, scalable, and maintainable cloud-native software solutions for platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Digital Ocean.

  • Use software like Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project to create technical requirement specification documents that guide project execution.

  • Create implementation and delivery roadmaps by translating business user expectations into technical stories and epics using tools like Jira and Roadmap.

  • Implement User Interface, RESTful Services, Embedded Systems, and Databases using technologies such as Java, Python, NodeJS, and Android. Ensure timely delivery of products by utilizing expertise in team management, modern engineering practices, Agile methodologies, and software development life cycle.

  • Work closely with Scrum Master and Product Owners to ensure smooth sprints using project management tools such as Confluence and Jira.

  • Address performance issues with Connected Home Appliances through design resolution.

  • Provide technical support to cross-functional development and testing teams.

  • Drive technical and system support to ensure a smooth experience for Connected Home Appliances.

  • Perform defect and incident triaging, and prioritize tasks and issues as required by the development and testing teams.

  • Deploy high-quality software to various cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Digital Ocean.

  • Manage engineering projects for Connected Home Appliances, driving the creation of business-critical applications, including test protocols, smart modules, and app revision control systems.

  • Lead the team in charge of addressing performance issues with both newly developed and legacy products on an ongoing basis.

  • Stay current on technological changes and regulatory requirements by keeping up with industry trends and best practices.

  • Collaborate closely with market research and consumer insight teams to identify consumer usage trends and pain areas to generate ideas for product improvements.

  • Develop strong working relationships with external consultants and vendor companies.

  • Create a product roadmap and go-to-market strategies for Connected Home Appliances and stay familiar with IoT protocols, standards, and security best practices.

  • Continuously monitor and analyze product usage data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize product features and functionality to enhance user experience.


  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Engineering related or Technical related fields plus at least 2 years of experience.

  • In lieu of the above, we will also accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Engineering related or Technical related fields plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience. Foreign degree equivalent is acceptable. We will also accept any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience.

  • Experience to include working on backend service; technical documentation; working with modern engineering practices, agile methodologies, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), User Interface; Restful Services; embedded systems; Java, Python, NodeJS, Android; AWS, GCP; Digital Ocean.
